WIP Limiter - Chrome Extension for Asana
WIP Limiter is a Chrome extension developed by apiology that provides a visual hint when your Kanban-style Work-In-Progress (WIP) limit has been exceeded in your task-tracking tool. This extension is specifically designed to work with Asana, a popular productivity tool.
To use WIP Limiter, you need to have an account with Asana. Once logged in, you can create a task section with multiple tasks. To set a WIP limit for a section, simply add a number surrounded by square brackets at the end of the section name. For example, if you name a section "My section name [5]," it means that the WIP limit for that section is 5 tasks.
WIP Limiter provides a visual warning when the WIP limit is exceeded. If you add more tasks than the specified limit, a yellow warning stripe will appear on the left side of the section. If the number of tasks exceeds the limit even further, the warning stripe will turn red, indicating a significant deviation from the WIP limit.
Please note that WIP Limiter is not created, maintained, reviewed, approved, or endorsed by Asana, Inc. It is an independent extension developed by apiology.
